Jason Shamis

Broker in Charge

Jason, a Charleston, SC native, has worked in the real estate business since 2008. He initially oversaw and managed a 5,000 square foot vacation rental on Folly Beach where Quartermaster Properties began. Since that time, Jason has earned his real estate sales license to provide his clients with complete real estate services.

However, Jason’s career has not always been in real estate. Upon graduation, he joined the US Air Force and was assigned to Pope Air Force Base, Fayetteville, NC where he managed the maintenance of more than 30 C-130 aircraft. When his active duty enlistment ended in October 2000, Jason joined the Air Force Reserves, moved to Greenville, SC, and worked as the Assistant Golf Professional at the Thornblade Club, managing the customer service staff and coordinating multiple corporate golf tournaments throughout the year.

In 2002, after the events of 9/11, Jason was activated to support Operation Iraqi Freedom and was stationed at Joint Base Charleston, SC where he managed the maintenance and maintenance personnel for more than 50 C-17 aircraft. In 2019, Jason retired from the Air Force Reserves after serving twenty-three years between active and reserve duty. During Jason’s active duty military and reserve service he received the Diamond Sharp Award, Air Force Achievement Medal, Exemplary Achievement Award, NCO of the quarter for the Maintenance Wing, Accommodation Medal, and two Meritorious Service Medals.

With the culmination of Jason’s careers and knowledge of real estate, you won’t find a better fit to help you with all of your real estate needs. His philosophy is two-fold — no one cares how much you know until they know how much you care and always do what is right even when no one is watching.

MaryAnn Morelli

Moving to a new area can be daunting, but MaryAnn Morelli understands the challenges firsthand. As a Partner and Realtor serving the Charleston and Spartanburg/Greenville areas of South Carolina, she leverages her 20+ years of experience in property management and real estate knowledge to guide her clients through every step of the process. Formerly the Property Manager in Charge of Quartermaster Properties LLC's Greenville office, a veteran-owned and operated full-service real estate company, MaryAnn is passionate about helping individuals and families find the perfect home or investment property. Her own experiences moving to Alabama and Illinois while her husband served in the US Navy instilled in her a deep empathy for those relocating, and she strives to provide personalized support and resources to make their transition seamless. MaryAnn's background also includes 14 years in IT, where she developed strong communication and problem-solving skills, and she even shared her knowledge as an instructor at the University of South Carolina Upstate and ECPI University Greenville. Outside of real estate, MaryAnn enjoys ballroom dancing, traveling, riding her horse Rocky, and relaxing at home with her cats.

Wanda McCall is a native South Carolinian and licensed REALTOR® proudly calling the Upstate home. A graduate of the Wyatt Institute of Real Estate in Greenville, SC, Wanda earned both her REALTOR® license and Broker’s license. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Paralegal Certificate from the University of South Carolina.

After earning a B.A. in Marketing from Converse University, he joined Quartermaster Properties in July 2025 as a Brokerage Assistant. In this role, Landon supports the team in a variety of ways—from handling listings and marketing efforts to assisting with paperwork, he helps keep daily operations on track. With a strong attention to detail and a team-first mindset, Landon is committed to helping Quartermaster Properties run smoothly and ensuring every team member has the support they need to succeed.

Shane Burnett

Property Manager

Shane was born and raised in Upstate South Carolina living in many different areas of Spartanburg. He has witnessed the vast growth and change of the upstate over the years along with enjoying all the Upstate has to offer.

Shane has worked in manufacturing and the restaurant business which has taught him the importance of hospitality. He also understands the desire along with the need for professionalism in property management and is excited to join our team to continue that with our clients. When Shane isn’t working he enjoys spending time with his kids and hiking in the Smoky Mountains.

Kayla Dragic

Property Manager

Kayla has worked in the multifamily real estate industry for eleven years and has now expanded her knowledge in single family properties. She was born and raised in Vermont and made the decision to move to South Carolina in 2011.

Kayla has always enjoyed the warmer weather over the snow and knew the south was where she was meant to be! She has always had a passion for helping others whether that be through volunteering, helping the community for those in need or finding someone a place they can call home. When she isn't working she loves spending time outdoors, traveling, trying new things that inspire her and raising her three wonderful kids. Her favorite quote is, "You only fail when you stop trying" -Thomas Edison

In Memoriam of Dana Smith

Dana Smith passed away on April 19th, 2021 due to complications from Covid 19. Dana was named Realtor of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2021 and was ramping up for the best year of his real estate career. Between April and May, he sold four homes and had one under contract. He also leased four homes during this time while managing thirty other homes. He was working and answering emails while still in ICU only a few hours before he passed.

His dedication to helping people was unmatched in the real estate community and embodied all of the Code of Ethics to be called a Realtor. He absolutely loved real estate! He loved helping people find a home for their families. He loved working and interacting with people above all else.

We grieve the loss of him but are overwhelmingly thankful that he made us all better people! He became more than a colleague, he was family. Dana lived life the way we all should, “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Mathew 22:39).
